Omar Powell finds some running room.

It started with a bang for the Prince George Royals football team, when LaWayne Allen got the kick return and tore up the field on the first kick return, dodging the Dinwiddie Generals machinery for 92 yards and scored a touchdown.
But the undefeated Dinwiddie Generals machinery has been the only Central District team that has never lost a game this season. And they rebounded beating the Prince George Royals 63 to 6.
Back in the swing of things the Dinwiddie passing game was strong and their defense smothered the Royals running game. Dinwiddie Generals Quarterback, K’ymon Pope was 9 for 14 with 236 gained and 1 touchdown. The bulk of the Dinwiddie touchdowns was from their strong running game, Tyre Dalton rushed 120 yards scored one touchdown and Ryan Sturdivant tore up 118 yards and scored 3 touchdowns.
But the Royals weren’t without gleams of power against the Dinwiddie Offense; the Royals recovered 2 fumbles through the course of the game.
The Royals have their next game on Friday at 7 p.m. against Meadowbrook at Meadowbrook High School.
