Janice Fay Ayers, 58, of Butler, Indiana, died Sunday, January 6, 2008, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. A special graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 5, at 10 a.m. at the St. Ann's Cemetery in Claremont, where she will rest beside her parents, which was her desire.
Sharon Kenny Hartsell, 60, of Hopewell, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 in John Randolph Medical Center. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A Interment will be in Appomattox Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hopewell Emergency Crew, P.O. Box 572, Hopewell, Virginia 23860. John Lewis Daniel Sr., 76, of Hopewell, died Thursday, June 26, 2008, in John Randolph Medical Center. He was born in Mecklenburg County and had been a longtime resident of Hopewell.
Mr. Daniel was a retired supervisor from Hercules Inc.
The family received friends Sunday, June 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
A graveside service was held Monday, June 30, at 11 a.m. in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chesterfield County, with the Rev. Dr. Ivan Perkinson officiating.
James Haskell Willcox Jr., 68, of Hopewell, died Thursday, June 26, 2008, in Colonial Heights Convalescent Center.
He was born in Darlington, S.C., and had been a longtime, well-known resident of Hopewell. A memorial service will be held at Merchants Hope Episcopal Church at a later date.
