Robert Arthur Klooz
Robert Arthur Klooz Sr., 77, of Hopewell died Wednesday, July 1, 2009.
He was born in St. Paul, Minn.. Mr. Klooz served in the U. S. Army, and was an engineer equipment repairman on heavy equipment.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur F. and Margaret Gentle Klooz Sr. and step-son, Vance Johnson Sr. and wife, Linda. Surviving are his wife, Maxine Johnson Klooz of Hopewell, three sons, David Klooz and wife, Ellen, of Holly Springs, N.C.; Robert A. Klooz, Jr. and wife, Haesoon, of Midlothian; Michael Klooz and wife, Holli, of Mebane, N.C.; ten grandchildren, Wendy, Becky, Brett, Amy, Lisa, Curtis, Michael Jr., Stephanie, Joy and Vance, Jr.; three brothers, Arthur F. Klooz Jr. of South St. Paul, Minn.; William Klooz and wife, Carol of Mendota Heights, Minn.; John Klooz and wife, Gayle of Oakdale, Minn..; one sister, Karen Lundsten and husband, Lance, of Miltona, Minn.
Special thanks to caregivers, RN Joyce Lynch and aid, Juanita Jennifer for their compassionate care.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 3, 2009 from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bruce Catron, pastor of First Congregational Christian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chesterfield County. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Virginia 7231 Forrest Ave. Suite 100 Richmond, Va. 23226.
