PRINCE GEORGE — A county man charged as an accessory after the fact in the death of Tameka Claiborne in Richmond will return to court for a hearing Oct. 4 at 9 a.m.
Police first charged Darren Fenceroy in the incident July 30. His latest appearance was Monday morning for a adjudicatory hearing.
Fenceroy was charged after the recovery of Michael Solomon's car in southwestern Hopewell near the Prince George County line. Evidence from the car led to the arrest of Alphonzo Richardson, of Petersburg, as an accessory after the fact, charges for Solomon and, apparently, Fenceroy's charges as well.
Richmond Police charged Richardson, of Petersburg, as an accessory after the fact in a felony and concealing a dead body. He will appear in Richmond/Manchester General District Court on those charges Sept. 16 at 9 a.m.
The charges for the three men began with the investigation into the appearance of Claiborne's toddler son at 11 p.m. in a parking lot nine miles away from his South Richmond Home July 20.
After a search for Claiborne, Solomon and Solomon's car, Solomon turned himself in to Richmond Police. Later that day, Claiborne's body was found alongshore in Charles City County. That subsequent weekend was when the car appeared.
Solomon is scheduled to return to Richmond Circuit Court at 8:30 a.m. Monday on the charges of murder and concealing/transporting a dead body. On Aug. 26, Solomon is scheduled to appear in general district court for charges in relation to the abduction of Claiborne's son.
