Media reports indicate that officials have recovered the body of Clacy Sullivan, the 12-year-old boy who fell into a water-filled quarry at the Vulcan Materials site in Prince George County.
At a candle light vigil held on Wednesday evening, family and friends vowed not to leave until the child was found.
According to the “Richmond Times-Dispatch,” the child’s family was notified of the discovery shortly after 8 p.m.
Reports say Sullivan's remains were taken to the Medical Examiner's Office in Richmond where the cause of death will be determined.
