UPS driver shot in Petersburg

A UPS driver who was shot in Petersburg on Monday night is still receiving care at Southside Regional Medical Center. He is reported to be in stable condition.
In a release from the Petersburg Police Department, robbery is identified as a possible motive, but police are still investigating the case.
The shooting occurred at approximately 8 p.m. on Monday night in the Lieutenant’s Run Apartment Complex. The driver was shot in leg and taken to the hospital.
