2 people are shot in Hopewell

HOPEWELL — Police are investigating a double shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in the Davisville and Bland Court public housing complex.
Officers responded to the 600 block of Davisville Place at 2:28 a.m. for a report of shots fired and a disturbance. A window in one of the nearby apartments had been shot out and shortly thereafter, two men arrived at John Randolph Medical Center with gunshot wound that are believed to be non life-threatening injuries, Hopewell police said. Both men were transferred to The Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond for further treatment.
