PRINCE GEORGE — A foodservice distributor in Prince George County will soon be laying off nearly 50 employees, according to the Virginia Workforce Network.
Reinhart Foodservice, the third largest privately owned foodservice distributor in the United States, will lay off 46 staff members by April 29, according to a post on the Virginia Workforce Network’s Rapid Response website, which lists all of the closing and layoff notices reported in the state.
As a part of the Reyes Holding Company, Reinhart serves 76,000 customers from 31 regional distribution centers through the delivery of food products, equipments, chemicals and all other supplies related to the foodservice industry, according to Reyes Holding.
