Two bomb threats disrupt Walmart in Chester

CHESTERFIELD Over a period of three days, a Walmart in Chesterfield was evacuated following a bomb threat.

On Sunday, at the Walmart in the 12000 block of Ironbridge Road, between 3 and 4 p.m. a bomb threat was called in to the store and shoppers and employees were evacuated. After a search of the store, authorities did not find anything suspicious and everyone was allowed to re-enter.

At the same Walmart on Thursday, March 27, a bomb threat was received around 10:00 p.m. Employees and customers were evacuated and after a search of the store, the all clear was given and everyone was allowed back in.

Chesterfield police have stated this is in ongoing investigation into both incidents.
