Saturday July 8 Hopewell nonprofit car club Street Dream Cruisers held their second annual car show at Strosnider Chevrolet in Hopewell.
More than 75 registered cars filled the Oaklawn lot. Patrons walked across rows of cars judging their make, model and year to see who would be crowned the Best in Show. Trucks, cars and motorcycles lined the lot as patrons were treated to fresh chicken, potato salad, and fish and baked beans.
As a special thanks to the Strosnider Chevrolet Dealership, Street Dreams Cruisers presented Kevin Strosnider, manager Strosnider Chevrolet, with the Spark of Life Award. Strosnider is the first to ever to receive the award which honors members of the community who drive community engagement and enrichment.
Stronsnider thanked Street Dream Cruisers President Glen Harris for their great working relationship and all that they do in the community.
Though Harris did not say this outright, seeing the smiling faces, hearing the mighty laughs and watching as groups of people in awe of the classic cars on the lot was enough evidence to say the event was a success.
Street Dream Cruisers continues to be a horse powered force of the Hopewell Community.
