Evelyn Marie Erickson
Evelyn Marie Erickson, age 78, of Prince George, died on Saturday, July 26, 2008.
She was born in Cherokee, Iowa, the daughter of the late Michael J. and Alice Gordon Ford.
Mrs. Erickson was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Ford Jr.; and sister, Donna Kauffman. She is survived by two daughters, Debra M. Busch and husband Richard of Prince George, and Karen S. Reed of Greeley, Colo.; and two grandchildren, Melissa Brothers and Kimberly Busch.
Graveside funeral services will take place on Wednesday, July 30 at 2:30 p.m. in the Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice or to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Sidney Braudes Kesler Jr.
Sidney Braudes Kesler Jr., age 76, of Richmond, departed this life on Sunday, July 27, 2008.
He was born in Hopewell, the son of the late Sidney B. Kesler Sr. and Laura Lyerly Kesler.
Mr. Kesler was a U.S. Army veteran and past president and member of the Meadowbrook Lions Club. He was retired from Reynolds Metals Company where he was a research metallurgist and holder of 108 patents for the company throughout his 15 years of work. Mr. Kesler also owned and operated Penguin Realty Company for approximately 15 years.
He is survived by his children, Tamala L. Hepler and husband Kelley of Chester, Judith K. Wainwright and husband Wally of Mechanicsville, and Steve A. Kesler and wife Stephanie of Prince George; grandchildren, Justin Wainwright, Craig Rosson, Matthew Rosson, and Jessica Butler; and three great-granddaughters.
The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will follow there in the chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with interment in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.

Salvador Santory
Salvador Santory, age 79 of Prince George, died unexpectedly, Saturday, July 26, 2008. Funeral arrangements are being conducted by the Hopewell chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
John Malcolm Thompson
John Malcolm Thompson, 63, of Hopewell passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at his residence. John received a Mechanical Engineering degree from Temple University, and was an Engineer with Defense Supply Center Richmond, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in 1970, a U. S. Navy Veteran, member of the National Rifle Association and a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Richmond, VA. He is survived by his wife, Diana Jordan Thompson, son, John M. Thompson, Jr., daughter, Beth Ann Thompson, and a sister, Patricia Ann Pavlenco and her husband, Greg. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, July 25, 2008 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA. A Memorial service will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the Funeral Home with Father Bill Taylor officiating. Interment will be private.
